SINKING(IN)

We created this work with the painter Sirje-Liisa Eelma, while bouncing the ideas and sense of the repetitions. Spending some time alone with another artist’s white paintings bearing familiar motives I sensed them awakening to life.
The work consists of: large scale colored photo of a veranda, the black and white solarization of the same photo (UV print); pair of photos featuring a key to read through the book of Peter Gidal; twelve small sliding watchings to Eelma’s white paintings — colored photos on plywood.
